On Wednesday, December 24, 2024, the Guinness World Record for the largest iced coffee was officially set—an event brought to life through the active participation of coffee industry professionals and precise operational coordination.
SAMT o SOYE ATYEH , as one of the contributors, played a role in supporting and supplying part of the project, collaborating throughout the execution process.
This achievement was more than the registration of a record. Beyond its technical and operational dimensions, the event carried cultural and social significance, which will be further addressed below. The project was carried out with full resource efficiency, and all participants benefited from this memorable experience.


As part of this project, the production of 17,000 liters of iced coffee was carried out according to a phased operational plan. From the procurement of raw materials to equipment preparation and tank management, each stage progressed on a defined schedule to ensure coordination at scale.
The blending and production process was continuously monitored, and four cameras were installed on-site to document and record every stage in full, ensuring transparency and verifiability.
Iguacu Instant Coffee powder was used for this event, selected for its ability to dissolve in cold water and to enable consistent production at high volume. This characteristic helped maintain both quality control of the final product and an efficient preparation timeline.
Alongside the main execution of the program, part of the project was dedicated to supporting individuals facing employment limitations due to economic circumstances, including working children and young people with limited access to educational opportunities.
Within this framework, skill-based training sessions in coffee preparation and service were organized to equip participants with practical competencies and enhance their prospects for entering the job market.
This component of the project was designed with a long-term perspective—an initiative intended to continue creating impact beyond the conclusion of the event.
The registration of the world’s largest iced coffee, beyond its technical dimension, represented the successful execution of a large-scale project achieved through structured planning and precise allocation of responsibilities.
This accomplishment was recorded in accordance with the official standards of Guinness World Records and is internationally recognized as a national record. Securing this title required thorough documentation of each stage of execution, final verification of the total production volume, and confirmation that the entire process complied with the established criteria.
